Places to go while in Atlanta....

Kinship Butcher + Coffee

One part cafe one part butcher / organic market. KINSHIP is one of our hands down favorite morning spots! KINSHIPS team serves up a sausage egg and cheese sandwich that will blow you mind... Order a double double or pull a Grady order and get a triple triple! They have great coffee too!  KINSHIP is in the Virginia-Highland neighborhood.

LARAKIN

This is the spot to go for coffee Saturday morning if you are staying in midtown! It's two blocks from Grady's house and the atmosphere is like being in another city, in another country... specifically SPAIN. The crew at Larakin are making great coffee and it's one of the few places where you can be served a bottle of wine at 9:00AM in the city...

Piedmont Park and the BELTLINE

Piedmont Park, Atlanta’s premier 189-acre urban green space in Midtown, was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted Jr. and John Charles Olmsted (sons of the Central Park architect) in a picturesque style. It features, Lake Clara Meer, expansive lawns, and meandering, curvilinear paths that promote relaxation and, as intended, "social good".

The BELTLINE is worth walking if you have never done it! A transformative 22-mile, $4.8 billion urban redevelopment project, re-purposing historic rail corridors into a connected loop of multi-use trails, parks, and future light-rail transit. Scheduled for completion by 2030, it aims to connect 45 intown neighborhoods, enhance, foster economic growth, and create 1,300 acres of new green space.

If you are staying at the Four Seasons you can grab coffee, walk through the park and then stroll the belt line to meet folks at The Forth Hotel and enjoy lunch in Inman Park at Ladybird, Victory, Barcelona, or Yeppa!

The Atlanta Botanical Garden

Since the Garden opened its doors in 1976, it has become the emerald jewel in the crown of Atlanta culture. The Garden is an ever-evolving destination where the horticulturally-minded, nature-inspired and fun-seeking families come together to feel human again.

Renowned plant collections, beautiful displays and spectacular exhibitions make the Atlanta Botanical Garden the loveliest place in the city to visit. An urban oasis in the heart of Midtown, the Garden includes 30 acres of outdoor gardens, an award-winning Children’s Garden, the serene Storza Woods highlighted by a unique Canopy Walk, and the picturesque Skyline Garden.

The High Museum of Art

High Museum of Art is the Southeast's leading art museum, renowned for its extensive 20,000+ piece collection and iconic, light-filled architecture designed by Richard Meier and Renzo Piano. The museum features major holdings in 19th-20th century American art, Southern folk art, photography, and European masterpieces, providing a premier, community-focused cultural hub.
